Long Bach Nguyen

With over 15,000 hours of flight experience, Long has been an active flight instructor in the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years. In addition to his experience as a Kodiak instructor, he teaches mountain air search and rescue for the Washington State Department of Transportation and the Civil Air Patrol. He previously served as the the Seattle Squadron Commander for the Civil Air Patrol, and is currently the chief pilot for Washington Air Search and Rescue.

Long has also published four books of his photography from around the world, with his work featured in AOPA Pilot magazine (July 2020) and sold at the Seattle Space Needle.
